Doctorate in Guitar Performance from Northwestern University, Bachelor of Arts degree in violin performance from Carroll University.
Dr. Anisimov has taught guitar in various music programs at Merit School of Music (Chicago, IL), DePaul University (Chicago, IL), Northwestern University (Evanston, IL), and Carroll University (Waukesha, WI), where he has been a faculty member since 2015. He has given world premiers of works by Christine Liu, Nomi Epstein, Kenn Kumpf, and has performed in masterclasses with numerous world renowned guitarists and lutenists including Paul O’Dette, Nigel North, Jacob Heringman, Hopkinson Smith, Oscar Ghiglia, Lorenzo Micheli, Stanley Yates, Stephen Aaron, Eduardo Fernandez, and Raphaella Smits. Here at WCCM, Dr. Anisimov's studio offers student recitals, festival and competition performance opportunities, preparation for RCM exams and for auditions for summer school and higher education programs. Mr. Anisimov's studio is also equipped to provide advanced audio and video recording services for his students.
