Dr. Anisimov has taught guitar in various music programs at Merit School of Music (Chicago, IL), DePaul University (Chicago, IL), Northwestern University (Evanston, IL), and Carroll University (Waukesha, WI), where he has been a faculty member since 2015. He has given world premiers of works by Christine Liu, Nomi Epstein, Kenn Kumpf, and has performed in masterclasses with numerous world renowned guitarists and lutenists including Paul O’Dette, Nigel North, Jacob Heringman, Hopkinson Smith, Oscar Ghiglia, Lorenzo Micheli, Stanley Yates, Stephen Aaron, Eduardo Fernandez, and Raphaella Smits. Here at WCCM, Dr. Anisimov's studio offers student recitals, festival and competition performance opportunities, preparation for RCM exams and for auditions for summer school and higher education programs. Mr. Anisimov's studio is also equipped to provide advanced audio and video recording services for his students.

Here at WCCM his studio offers student recitals, festival and competition performance opportunities, preparation for RCM exams and auditions for orchestras such as the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO), as well as for summer school and higher education programs. Mr. Anisimov's studio is also equipped to provide advanced audio and video recording services for his students.

Max Anisimov completed his first commercially released album as a recording engineer and producer in 1999. Since then he has made recordings for a countless number of talented artists, from students to major celebrities of classical music. Artists that Max has recorded have included Ana Vidovic (guitar), Artyom Dervoed (guitar), James Ehnes (violin), Daniel Rowland (violin), Rachel Kolly d’Alba (violin), David Lisker (violin), James Rhodes (piano), Galvin Cello Quartet, and many others. Max is also in high demand as an audio editor, regularly working on recordings for clients from all over the globe.
