Joe Nuval holds a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the Eastman School of Music. He has taught piano for over 16 years including experience at the University of Illinois, Southern Nevada Music, Pennfield Elementary, and privately.
Joe's focus is on keeping lessons fun while building efficient technique and a solid music theory foundation. His experience spans all ages and levels, individual and group settings.
Past piano instructors include: William Heiles, Kenneth Drake, Rebecca Penneys, Michael Boyd, Edward Auer, Viktoria Mushkatkol, Ann Monaco, and Mercedes Lofradez. His piano pedagogy training includes mentorship from Reid Alexander and Christos Tsitsaros at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
