Dr. Anisimov has taught guitar in various music programs at Merit School of Music (Chicago, IL), DePaul University (Chicago, IL), Northwestern University (Evanston, IL), and Carroll University (Waukesha, WI), where he is currently a faculty member. He has given world premiers of works by Christine Liu, Nomi Epstein, Kenn Kumpf, and has performed in masterclasses with numerous world renowned guitarists and lutenists including Paul O’Dette, Nigel North, Jacob Heringman, Hopkinson Smith, Oscar Ghiglia, Lorenzo Micheli, Stanley Yates, Stephen Aaron, Eduardo Fernandez, and Raphaella Smits.
